Nepal Police wins both Men 640KG and Women 580KG events of 3rd National Tug of War Competition held at Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. All seven provinces' teams and Nepal Government's all three departmental teams participated in the Men event where as five provinces' teams and three departmental teams participated in Women event. Nepal Tug of War Association (NTWA)
Nepal Tug of War Association is Affiliated to Tug of War International Federation (TWIF). The mission of TWIF is to provide the structure and good governance necessary for the well-being and development of the sport of Tug of War throughout the world. NTWA is registered in National Sports Council of Nepal and has sole responsibility for development of Tug of War game throughout Nepal.
With its provincial committees, district committees, municipality committees, and clubs, it stands as one of the most widely dispersed sports associations in Nepal.
