Participated Teams: As per the norms of Nepal Government, participating teams in a National Competition should consists of Provincial Level teams and Departmental Teams. For this competition out of seven provinces, five teams Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Madhesh Province, Lumbini Province and Karnali Province participated and all three departmental teams Nepal Police, Nepal Army, Armed Police Force of Nepal participated.
All participating teams and technical teams were given free accommodation for 2 days.
This competition is the first of the competition organized in League-cum-Knockout format.
For qualifying round, the teams were divided into two groups, by lucky draw process.
